Sweet Home Wild Horses

Advocacy in Action
Sweet Home Wild Horses is a nonprofit inspired by the extraordinary Montgomery Pass herd. Through photography, education, and community outreach, we seek to help people experience the profound cross-species connection that wild horses awaken — expanding our vision of the natural world and deepening our understanding of the culture of wild horses. These horses live in remarkable social harmony, teaching us about cooperation, family, resilience, and life in balance with nature.
Our mission is to protect the future of wild horses through education, sanctuary development, responsible placement opportunities, and ecological stewardship. We believe wild horses are an essential part of the Western landscape and that their presence helps create thriving ecological balance, rich habitat, and renewed connection between people and the living world around them.
